Priscilla Presley is looking back on her marriage to the late King of Rock 'n' Roll, Elvis Presley, in the wake of the family drama regarding their daughter's estate.

Priscilla and Elvis—who shared their one and only daughter Lisa Marie Presley together—were married from 1967 to 1973, and remained good friends up until the icon's death in 1977.

This week, the 77-year-old actress took to Instagram to remember her former husband, despite the ongoing reports of tension between her and Elvis' grandchildren over Lisa Marie's estate.

"May 1st. A very special day for Elvis and I," Priscilla captioned her post on Monday, sharing a throwback black-and-white photo from their wedding in 1967.

She then included the lyrics from his hit song "Memories," writing, "'Memories pressed between the pages of my mind Memories sweetened through the ages just like wine.'"

Priscilla's sweet post to her late ex-husband comes in the wake of a reported legal battle over Lisa Marie's estate following her death in January of this year.

Aged only 54 at the time, the singer died unexpectedly after going into cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, Calif., on January 12. She was rushed to the hospital and died later that day after reportedly suffering a second cardiac arrest.

Following Lisa Marie's death, Priscilla filed a petition questioning a 2016 amendment to her daughter's living trust that deferred all control to the musician's eldest two children, Riley Keough and Benjamin Keough, the latter of whom sadly died at age 27 in 2020.

The petition has since caused an alleged rift within the family over the Presley estate, which includes Elvis' famous Graceland Mansion, as well as a 15 percent stake in Elvis Presley Enterprises.

While the future of the trust still hangs in the balance, a judge recently ruled on the fate of Lisa Marie's youngest two daughters, 14-year-old twins Harper Vivienne Ann and Finley Aaron Love, of whom full custody has officially been granted to their dad, Lisa Marie's ex-husband Michael Lockwood.
