Priscilla Presley is speaking up to address the recent settlement reached over her late daughter Lisa Marie Presley's estate.

Following Lisa Marie's death in January at age 54, Priscilla was believed to be at odds with her granddaughter Riley Keough in a dispute over the fate of the late singer's trust, which includes Elvis Presley's Graceland mansion and a stake in Elvis Presley Enterprises.

Last month, the two finally reached a settlement maintaining Riley, 34, as the sole trustee of the estate, and awarding Priscilla, 78, an undisclosed sum, believed to be somewhere in the millions.

Priscilla, the ex-wife of Elvis and mother to Lisa Marie, made a statement on Wednesday, June 14, to address the agreement she reached with her granddaughter and finally put the reported feud behind them.

"My daughter's passing was both devastating and heartbreaking," Priscilla wrote, as PEOPLE reported. "We have learned that the fans realize that we are 'Just a Family.' Elvis would be proud and his and Lisa's wishes are what are most important to all of us."

"My granddaughter, through her counsel, along with my team worked diligently and tirelessly to resolve all misunderstandings as a family," she continued.

After Priscilla and Riley finally came to an agreement over Lisa Marie's estate, the Daisy Jones & the Six actress petitioned the court to officially approve the agreement, which would put the matter to rest once and for all, assuming it all goes to plan.

Prior to the agreement, Priscilla filed a petition questioning a 2016 amendment to her daughter's living trust, which deferred all control to Lisa Maries oldest two children, Riley and Benjamin Keough, the latter of whom sadly died in 2020 at age 27.

Lisa Marie—who shared Riley and Benjamin with ex-husband Danny Keough—also had two younger daughters, 14-year-old twins Harper Vivienne Ann and Finley Aaron Love, of whom full custody has officially been granted to their dad and Lisa Marie's ex-husband, Michael Lockwood.
