Pringles Is Launching a Mystery Flavor This Summer

Do you have insanely accurate taste buds? Well, that little talent could pay off big time very soon.

Pringles is releasing a Mystery Flavor for the first time ever in the United States—and fans who guess the flavor correctly could win $10,000.

Here’s how the contest works:

The ~mysterious~ cans will be available exclusively at Walgreens stores through July 30. All you have to do is eat the chips and try to identify what exactly they’re supposed to taste like. Submit your guesses online by August 13 for a chance to win the prize. The flavor (and the winners!) will be announced on August 18.

“To continue to meet consumers’ desires for unique snacking opportunities, we strive to create new, innovative flavors that excite fans and introduce even more Flavor Stacking combinations,” said AnneMarie Suarez-Davis, VP of Marketing, Pringles, in a statement. “The Mystery Flavor will bring a new insanely accurate Pringles flavor to shelves and reward one lucky fan who can guess the flavor correctly.”

Fans will likely need to be super specific when making their guesses: Pringles Canada staged a similar contest last year and the winner guessed “Seven Layer Dip.”

“We strove to create the Mystery Flavor in a way that all components fit together to make a cohesive, flavorful taste,” said Becky Wolfe, product development scientist, in a statement. “The flavor was especially fun to develop because it needs to be spot on in order for fans to guess the taste.”
