It’s a good day to be a junk food fan, because Pringles has brought back a real winner to the chip aisle. You may have had the Fried Onion Ring flavor when it first came out in 2019, but if you hadn’t, now is your chance. The chips have returned to shelves, so let’s hope they stick around for longer this time.

A traditional onion rings consists of, well, onion rings that are coated in batter and fried. So you can expect those elements to be packed into the thin crisps — which should be interesting because it’s a fried flavor that’s packed into an already fried chip. According to people who have tried them, like Instagram account @tmc_reviews, they do indeed taste like the real thing.

When the Pringles Fried Onion Ring flavor first came out, it was exclusively available at 7-Eleven. That’s not the case this time around, however, because they’ve been spotted and listed at Walmart. It’s not clear whether they’re a Walmart-only offering now, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled in the snack aisle.

You can dip actual onion rings in a variety of condiments, like ketchup, ranch dressing, or a mayo-based dip. We’re not saying you should do that with these chips, but we’re not not saying that either. After all, they do taste like the real thing, right?
