Pringles is one of those snack brands with an incredibly loyal fan base—similar to Pop-Tarts, Lay’s, and Oreos. If Mr. P discontinues a flavor, fans will all but knock on the Kellanova door demanding its return. But hey, it works—look at the Honey Mustard Pringles that the brand brought back after two years of fan requests.

Honestly, we get it. We have no complaints about the potato crisps—except maybe that the cylindrical can is tricky to fit your hand into. But we can look past even that.

However, if the thought of getting your hand stuck in a Pringles can keeps you up at night, the mustachioed mascot has good news. Pringles is ditching its iconic can for the first time in over 15 years (the last time was when the brand sold Mini Pringles).

The can will still exist for its classic Pringles chips; however, Pringles is launching an all-new bagged snack for a new way to enjoy and share.

Pringles Announces New Pringles Mingles

At the 2024 Sweets & Snacks Expo, Pringles will debut its new Pringles Mingles. The crisps, which come in a bag, are Pringles' first-ever puffed snacks, joining the ranks of Pirate's Booty, Veggie Puffs, and Cheetos.

However, unlike those snacks, the Pringles Mingles snack is not corn-based but a puffed version of the iconic potato crisp. Each new variety combines two fan-loved Pringles flavors into a snack that mingles in your mouth to create a flavorful burst of crispy goodness.

The flavors include Cheddar & Sour Cream, Sharp White Cheddar & Ranch, and Dill Pickle & Ranch. Plus, keeping with the theme, each puff is shaped like a bowtie as a callback to Mr. P's classic style.

It sounds like Pringles Mingles is joining Pringles' permanent lineup to disrupt the snacking space. Soon, you can look for the iconic can and bag in snacking aisles at all retailers. Pringles is announcing the new snack at May's expo, but the new Pringles Mingles won't roll out until the fall.

Pringles says to look for the new flavorful puffs at retailers nationwide in October. We know it's a long time to wait, but we can't stop thinking about the new snack, so we'll be racing to the store for them in October.
