Super Bowl commercial breaks are usually jam-packed with ads for chips, beer, soda, and every other junk food known to man. So that's why it comes as a surprise that Pringles has never taken part - that is, until this year.

This February, Pringles is debuting its first-ever Super Bowl ad. The commercial will feature former SNL star Bill Hader, and will focus on the concept of "flavor stacking," or the idea that you can layer different flavors on top of one another for a whole different experience when you bite into it.

Creatives at the ad agency Grey came up with the "flavor stacking" concept while sitting around the office eating Pringles, and they decided to make it a big ad campaign. The company is promoting flavors like Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño, which combines one bacon chip, one loaded baked potato chip, and one jalapeño chip, Pico de Gallo, with one extra hot, one jalapeño, and one fiery chili lime, and No Mess Chicken Wings, with one BBQ, one buffalo ranch, and one ranch.

The ad will go online starting Jan. 25, and will air during the second quarter of the Super Bowl. For now, Pringles has released a behind-the-scenes clip starring Hader. "More people will see me in this than they have in the past three movies I've been in," Hader jokes. "If I had to make an Oklahoma Pringles stack, I mean, they love catfish there, so a catfish stack. That would be tasty?" Yeah, that doesn't seem too likely.
