Princess Madeleine of Sweden Is Moving to Florida
Princess Madeleine of Sweden is moving her family back to the States. Madeleine, who is seventh-in-line to the Swedish throne, her husband Christopher O'Neil, and their three children, Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas, and newborn Princess Adrienne will move to Florida this fall, according to a statement released by the Swedish royal family this morning.
While the family currently resides in London, Madeleine and O'Neil had previously lived in New York City, where Princess Leonore was born. At this point, it is unclear exactly where in Florida they will be based.
"Princess Madeleine has a great commitment to children's rights and will continue working with the World Childhood Foundation and, through the move, be able to focus more on the activities in the United States," reads the statement.
"Mr. Christopher O'Neill has previously been working in the United States but will continue his business in Europe. The family thus leaves the accommodation in London."
The press release also noted that now is a good time for the family to live outside of Sweden as "the children are still in pre-school age."
In addition to the news, the palace also issued a new portrait (above) of the family of five.
Unlike her British counterparts, Princess Madeleine is very active on social media, and has a personal Instagram, where she posts photos of her family like the one below from Nationaldagen or National Day. It's likely that she'll continue to share pictures of her life in Florida on the platform.

This has been a big week for news about the Swedish royals. On Tuesday, the family's priceless crown jewels, including two crown and an orb, were stolen in a motorboat heist. They have yet to be recovered.
