Irish woman politely got her point across to the princess.

During a walkabout in Belfast yesterday, Princess Kate was told “Ireland belongs to the Irish” by a woman in the crowd.

The woman, who was among those who turned out to see the Prince and Princess of Wales on their one-day visit to Northern Ireland, shook Kate’s hand and said, “Nice to meet you but it would be better if it was when you were in your own country."

Kate appeared to laugh off the encounter.

Several days after Queen Elizabeth II died, King Charles III visited Belfast where he was greeted by a large sign erected on a mountain overlooking the city that said, ‘We serve no King but Ireland.’

During the Wales’s visit, Kate and William spoke to staff at a suicide prevention charity, and painted pumpkins with children in an art therapy session.

Kate’s outfit was all in shades of blue: a long powder blue coat paired with a pussy-bow blouse in the same color, and navy trousers.

The day before, the princess visited a maternity unit at a London hospital and embodied fall chic in a mustard yellow dress by Karen Millen.

She also wore a new pair of diamond earrings, which feature detachable drops on diamond-studded hoops.

While talking with a mother in the hospital’s Special Baby Care Unit, Kate was asked if she would like to hold newborn Bianca.

“She’s very sweet,” Kate said as she cradled the baby.
