The statement also revealed that the couple plans to live broadcast the service, and in similar fashion as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, they will also open their procession to guests and spectators as well.

Just like the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex, newlyweds Eugenie and Brooksbank will also enjoy a carriage ride through one portion of the castle. “The carriage will process through the grounds of Windsor Castle, departing via Castle Hill to proceed along part of the High Street before returning to the Castle via Cambridge Gate,” the statement read.

The couple plans to invite charity representatives and other Windsor locals, as well as current local students from the schools which Eugenie attended in her childhood. “Residents of Windsor Castle and a number of Royal Household staff will also be present,” the palace noted.

In order for applicants to qualify, they must have a UK residence, be over the age of 5 (if under 16 in age, an adult must accompany the guest), and they must only apply once. The applications are accepted between July 18 and August 8.

The couple’s wedding will officially take place on Friday, October 12.
