Princess Eugenie Is Pregnant With Her First Baby, Buckingham Palace Reveals

From Delish

Congratulations are most definitely in order, as Princess Eugenie is expecting her first baby with husband Jack Brooksbank.

Buckingham Palace announced the happy news yesterday, revealing in a statement, "Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021."

The statement continued, "The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news."

Eugenie celebrated her baby news with an adorable Instagram post that featured two pictures: in one, the royal can be seen holding the cutest pair of baby slippers; in the other, Eugenie is posing with her husband, and, understandably, both are beaming. "Jack and I are so excited for early 2021....👶🏻," read the caption.

Eugenie and Brooksbank tied the knot on October 12, 2018. Their wedding took place at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, the very same venue where Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry got married.

For her one-year wedding anniversary, Eugenie took to Instagram to commemorate the occasion. The princess revealed, "This was the greatest day of my life...forever and always! Happy one year anniversary, my Jack!!"

Though the couple have been married only about two years, Eugenie and Brooksbank have been together for more than 10. They celebrated their decade milestone in April of this year, with Eugenie revealing on Instagram that they'd been quarantining together during the coronavirus pandemic. "Jack and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary today...😍😍 and we are lucky enough to be together at this time," she wrote.
