From Harper's BAZAAR

Congratulations are most definitely in order, as Princess Eugenie is expecting her first baby with husband Jack Brooksbank.

Buckingham Palace announced the happy news on Thursday, and revealed in a statement, "Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021."

The statement continued, "The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news."

Princess Eugenie also celebrated the news with an adorable Instagram in which the royal can be seen holding the cutest pair of baby slippers. "Jack and I are so excited for early 2021....👶🏻," she captioned the post. Eugenie shared a second photo in which she posed with her husband and, understandably, both were beaming.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank tied the knot on October 12, 2018. Their wedding took place at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, the very same venue where Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got married.

On her one-year wedding anniversary, Eugenie took to Instagram to commemorate the occasion. The princess revealed, "This was the greatest day of my life...forever and always! Happy one year anniversary, my Jack!!"

While they've been married for almost two years, Eugenie and Jack have been together for over ten. They celebrated a decade together in April of this year, and Eugenie revealed on Instagram that they'd been quarantining together during the coronavirus pandemic. "Jack and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary today...😍😍 and we are lucky enough to be together at this time.," she wrote.
