Princess Eugenie Moved Into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's U.K. Home

Frogmore Cottage has a new royal resident.

A new royal couple is taking up residence inside Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's U.K. home. According to People, Harry's cousin Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank — who are expecting their first child together — have recently moved into Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

While the Sussexes remain the owners of the property and retain financial responsibility, they are reportedly "delighted to be able to open up their home to Princess Eugenie and Jack as they start their own family," says a source. However, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson hasn't officially confirmed the handing over of the keys. "Frogmore is a private residence of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and any arrangements is a matter for them," the Palace revealed.

After making extensive renovations to the property that cost around $3 million, Harry and Meghan only spent less than a year living at Frogmore Cottage. They first moved into the home shortly before the birth of their son, Archie, in April 2019, and left the next year following news that they'd be stepping down as senior members of the royal family.

The couple relocated to the U.S. this spring, and after spending several months in Los Angeles, they bought a new home 100 miles north of the city in Santa Barbara, Calif.

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into their family home in July of this year," a rep for the Sussexes previously told People. "They have settled into the quiet privacy of their community since their arrival and hope that this will be respected for their neighbors, as well as for them as a family." Another source explained to Page Six that Santa Barbara is where they hope Archie "can have as normal a life as possible."

“They have thought about this carefully and researched it well," the insider added. "This is the place where they plan to be happy, make good friends and bring up Archie, giving him the chance to play with other children his age.”
