Princess Eugenie Just Shared a Back to School Throwback Photo With Princess Beatrice on Instagram
The British royal family has a long history of sharing adorable back to school photos with the world. And it's not just the littlest royals like Prince George and Princess Charlotte who can get in on the fun: Princess Eugenie just posted a sweet throwback photo on Instagram in honor of back to school season.
The photo features Eugenie posing on the first day of school with her older sister, Beatrice. The sisters are wearing matching uniforms in the photo, which marked the start of the school year back in 1994 when both Beatrice and Eugenie attended Upton House School in Windsor. Eugenie has a big smile on her face, while Beatrice looks slightly unsure of her return to school.
"Throwback to school days," Eugenie wrote in the caption. "Clearly I was more excited than Beatrice!"

Even more photos from the day show the sisters escorted to school by their mom, Sarah, Duchess of York. It was Eugenie's first day at the school, while Beatrice already had a few years at Upton House under her belt.
Although the royals typically bless us with a few back to school photos each year, we haven't seen Prince George or Princess Charlotte return to school just yet. Last year, Prince George's first day of school at Thomas's Battersea in London was captured by photographers, but the royals did not release a new photo of George to mark his return to school this week. And, despite sharing two adorable photos Princess Charlotte when she started nursery school in January 2018, Prince William and Duchess Kate haven't shared any new photos of Charlotte during back to school season yet.
