Princess Eugenie is a mom of two! Buckingham Palace confirmed that Eugenie gave birth to her second child, a son named Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, last week.

"A small announcement we are pleased to share," the Palace announced today. "Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their son, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank. Ernest was born on Tuesday, 30th May, and weighed 7lbs 1oz."

Princess Eugenie took to Instagram to share some snaps of her newborn, and the meaning of his name. Ernest, she wrote, "is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald."

In addition to the newest member of their family, Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are already parents to August "Augie" Philip Hawke Brooksbank, who turned 2 years old in February. When Eugenie and Jack shared the news they were expecting a second child, Buckingham Palace said in a statement that "August is very much looking forward to being a big brother." Upon the news of Ernest's birth, Eugenie wrote on Instagram, "Augie is loving being a big brother already."

Ernest is the thirteenth great-grandchild of the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, and the first great-grandchild of Queen Elizabeth born after her passing. Eugenie's son is also the third grandchild of Prince Andrew, and Sarah, Duchess of York.

Ernest Brooksbank is now 13th the British line of succession, behind his older brother Augie, and ahead of his great-uncle, Prince Edward, who is now 14th.
