Princess Eugenie Just Dyed Her Hair Red — Right Before Her Wedding

It's a total transformation.

Princess Eugenie is getting ready for her wedding day with a full beauty makeover.

The bride-to-be was spotted in London on Thursday — less than 24 hours before she’s scheduled to walk down the aisle to marry her boyfriend of 10 years, Jack Brooksbank — sporting a new red dye job. She was photographed on the street with her new look, a bare face with a nude lip, and a little pre-wedding day glow. She appears to have kept her cut in its usual shoulder-skimming lob, which complements the crimson color beautifully.

Eugenie has previously stayed true to her hair's natural brown shade, so this look is an entirely surprising one for the princess. But her mother, Sarah Ferguson, is known for her own strawberry strands, and the similarities between the two now that Eugenie has gone red are striking. In some old photos that the princess posted to her Instagram account earlier this year, it's clear that her hair was red when she was little, but likely darkened over time.

While it's unclear how the princess will style her hair on her October 12 wedding day (will she debut her own take on the messy bun, à la Meghan Markle?), she's been known to wear her hair in a curled blowout parted on the side. The notoriously private princess grants few interviews and has never shared any of her hair-care secrets, but she has revealed some of her favorite skin-care and makeup staples in the past. Her go-to's? Jo Malone Eucalyptus & Mint cleanser, Charlotte Tilbury Mascara, and Bobbi Brown Bronzer.

But one thing we do know for sure: This new hair color will look even better topped with a veil during Friday's ceremony.
