According to Mail Online, Eugenie went against royal brides before her by opting for a blush color. Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle both wore white for their second bridal looks.
Eugenie also shook things up by choosing an American designer instead of a British one. Meghan wore Stella McCartney and Kate chose Alexander McQueen, but Eugenie went with Zac Posen. Posen expressed his delight in an Instagram post writing, "It was an incredible honor to create this dress for HRH Princess Eugenie on her wedding day. Her grace, elegance and strength perfectly embody everything I could hope for in a woman wearing our design.”
