From Town & Country

Over the years Princess Eugenie has proven her ability to rock the perfect ‘do, but today she took her hairstyle to the next level with this stunning wedding look. Only yesterday, the Princess was spotted sporting newly dyed, subtle auburn locks, and she is effortlessly pulling off the new color. Today she is rocking a perfectly elegant low bun, with a middle part and loose waves. She is wearing the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara, which was lent to her by the Queen. The tiara features brilliant and rose cut diamonds pavé set in platinum, with six emeralds on either side It was made by Boucheron for Mrs. Greville in 1919.

In the past, Princess Eugenie has favored a shoulder-length style, dating back to her pre-Jack Brooksbank days, and even as a child. In 1993, Eugenie made the most darling bridesmaid in her former nanny Alison Wardley's wedding, adding a flower crown to her shoulder-length hair to complete the ensemble:

Eugenie's go-to hairstyle tends to favor loose, voluminous curls, which suit her well as her hair seems to have a bit of a natural wave. And while she's worn this carefree yet classy look to many royal events through the years, for her special day she opted for a more refined style, choosing an elegant yet understated low bun.

While she tends to stick to a consistent style, on occasion she's been known to stray from her signature look: the few times Eugenie has attended royal weddings as a guest, she's worn her brown locks pulled back into an updo. For instance, at Prince William and Kate Middleton's big day in 2011, she styled her hair in a low bun with side swept bangs.

Another notable time Eugenie went for this look is when she wore her hair pulled back in a low and loose bun while attending Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's May nuptials.

Many royal brides, including Grace Kelly, Zara Phillips, and Meghan Markle, wore updos on their wedding day, and Eugenie favors a similar look today.
