Princess Eugenie traveled to St George's Chapel for her wedding to Jack Brooksbank this morning in a car that has significant history for the royal family. Her bridal car, a 1977 Rolls Royce Phantom VI, was first presented to The Queen for her Silver Jubilee in 1978, by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

More recently, Kate Middleton traveled to Westminster Abbey in the same car for her wedding to Prince William in April of 2010, per the royal family's website.

Princess Eugenie was accompanied in the bridal car by her father, The Duke of York, who is the third child of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. Eugenie is the Queen's granddaughter, and ninth in line to the throne. She announced her engagement to Brooksbank, her boyfriend of eight years, in January of this year; the couple met on a skiing trip in Switzerland in 2010.

Following the wedding ceremony, the newlywed couple will will take a carriage ride around Windsor just as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did after their wedding in May, but theirs will be a shorter ride, lasting around 15 minutes.

Roughly 500 wedding guests are expected, with a number of celebrities like Ed Sheeran, George and Amal Clooney, Ellie Goulding, Victoria Beckham, and Elton John all rumored to be invited. Jack and Eugenie also invited 1,200 members of the public to celebrate inside the grounds of Windsor Castle, including representatives from charities supported by the couple.
