It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the home of Charles Spencer (aka Princess Diana’s brother).

A few weeks back on Instagram, the 9th Earl Spencer posted a photo of the Christmas tree he has on display at Althorp House in Northamptonshire, where he currently resides. The festive snap shows the massive tree covered in red shiny ornament and twinkly lights.

In the caption, Spencer wrote, “The ladder to the right gives away the fact that Althorp’s Christmas tree has only just been draped in its finery.” Being the history buff that he is, the 59-year-old shared some interesting deets about the Christmas tree. He added, “The tree was grown on the Estate: it will dominate the Saloon—the heart of the House—till Twelfth Night.”

His followers couldn’t stop gushing over the Christmas tree in the comments section, with one person writing, “Oh my gosh, what a beautiful tree.” Another chimed in and said, “So gorgeous.”

Following Spencer’s Christmas tree reveal, Queen Camilla, 76, showcased her own on social media. In a video shared on the royal family’s IG page, royally-obsessed fans were given a small glimpse of the tree, which featured red and gold balls. (FYI, the Christmas tree currently sits in Clarence House, the home she shares with husband King Charles.)

The caption read, “Christmas is coming! The Queen has continued her annual tradition of welcoming children, supported by @HelenAndDouglasHouse and @RoaldDahlCharity, to decorate the Christmas tree at Clarence House.”

It continued, “The Band and Bugles of The Rifles were on hand to provide festive musical entertainment—and not forgetting the special surprise visit from Father Christmas and his reindeer, Dancer and Blitzen!”

Nothing says Christmas quite like royal holiday decor.
