Princess Charlotte stole the show with her famous royal wave at the royal wedding

There may be a new royal in town, but there’s yet to be a person in the British royal family who can take Princess Charlotte’s spotlight away.

When the 3-year-old daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived at St. George’s Chapel, onlookers anticipated her famous little wave. And she didn’t disappoint when she made a quick turn away from the chapel just before the ceremony to acknowledge the crowd behind her.

As one of the young bridesmaids that accompanied the new Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, down the aisle, Charlotte looked absolutely adorable in her white dress and floral crown. But among the nine other young bridal party members, including her brother and Prince Harry’s nephew Prince George, Charlotte was the standout.

When the newlyweds made their grand exit from the chapel, Charlotte snagged another opportunity to perfect her favorite gesture, waving her uncle and new aunt off to ride through Windsor.

Nearly a month ago, the young princess had onlookers in awe of her etiquette as she went to visit her younger brother, Prince Louis, just after his birth. Clearly, she’s already caught on that her wave wins crowds over.
