Princess Charlotte and Prince George Arrive for Their First Day of School in Adorable Video
Princess Charlotte is already one of the most adorable royals around, but on Thursday, the four-year-old took cuteness to a whole new level when she walked in for her first day of school.
Charlotte, accompanied by her mother and father, Kate Middleton and Prince William, made her way into Thomas's Battersea, a private school near her home at Kensington Palace. Charlotte’s older brother, Prince George, also walked with his little sister as he too attends the prestigious school.
While all eyes were on the family as they arrived, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge do attempt to keep things rather normal for their little ones while at school. As Cosmopolitan reported, both Prince George and Princess Charlotte go by George and Charlotte Cambridge while in school, forgoing any formal title while with their peers.
The royal family shared a sweet video of the moment they dropped the children off at school on their instagram account, @kensingtonroyal.
In the video, little Charlotte is first seen clinging to her mother’s hand as they approach school. Then, she catches sight of Helen Haslem, who oversees the first two grade levels at the school, NBC reported. She then kindly shakes Haslem’s hand before excitedly continuing to walk into the school without a moment of apprehension (all while twirling her ponytail).

Thomas's Battersea’s current student body consists of 560 boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 13, CNN reported. Charlotte’s kindergarten class will reportedly have 21 students.
The tuition for the school runs at £6,429 (about $7,900) per term. However, because Charlotte’s big brother is already a pupil the Cambridges will receive a sibling discount. According to the Press Association, Prince William told reporters his daughter was "very excited" for her first day.
