Princess Charlotte had a stand-out moment during the royal family’s annual Christmas walk to and from the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Norfolk.
The 8-year-old joined her parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William, as well as both of her brothers, Prince George, 10, and Prince Louis, 5, as well-wishers gathered to see the Waleses and other members of the monarchy.

For the holiday appearance, the Wales family matched in blue ensembles — except for Charlotte, who wore a different jewel-toned color. While William, George, and Louis looked dapper in navy blue and Kate stunned in a peacock-colored look, Charlotte popped in a pretty forest green dress coat with navy tights.
The princess’ outerwear garment featured double-breasted buttons and a corduroy collar. In addition to her dark blue tights, Charlotte wore patent navy Mary Janes on her feet and further accessorized with a navy bow in her hair.
Like his older sister, Louis also embraced a slightly different look this year. While the tot has been known to attend royal engagements wearing shorts and socks ensembles, he dressed in tartan-print pants for the Christmas church service. This year’s outing marks the second time Louis has joined his siblings and parents in Norfolk, with 2022 being the first year he attended the holiday event.

In addition to holding his dad’s hand, Louis also walked hand-in-hand with his cousin Mia — Zara and Mike Tindall’s 9-year-old daughter. As the years go on and the children get older, they’re more frequently spotted together in public — and getting the cousins together is one of William’s favorite things about the holiday season.
During a radio show appearance in 2021, the future king said, “For me, generally, bringing the family together at Christmastime is always lovely because we’re quite spread out doing our things a lot of time throughout the year. We get very few moments to actually come together,” William shared. “When I see my children meet up with my cousin’s children, and they all have a wonderful time playing together, it’s very special. I look forward to that a lot,” he gushed.
