Princess Charlotte Looks So Grown Up in Her New Birthday Photos
Princess Charlotte sweetly poses in new photos taken by her mother, Kate Middleton, for her fourth birthday on May 2.
The images, which show the young royal playing around outdoors, were taken in April at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's country home in Norfolk.
The photos arrive a week after Charlotte's younger brother, Prince Louis, rang in his first birthday with his own set of portraits.
Last week, royal baby Prince Louis celebrated his first birthday with adorable portraits taken by his mother, Kate Middleton. Today, it's his big sister Princess Charlotte's turn.
The middle child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge turns four years old tomorrow, May 2. To ring in her big day, Duchess Kate photographed her at their country home in Norfolk last month.
The new images show Charlotte playing in the grass and flashing sweet smiles at the camera. In one shot, the fourth in line for the throne poses in a floral blue dress with a peter pan collar, navy sneakers by Trotters, and a little blue bow in her hair.
In another, she sits atop a wooden fence, wearing a gray cardigan, an Irulea plaid skirt, and tights, with her hair up in a ponytail.
In a third image, she holds up a flower with excitement, finally showing her teeth with a big smile.
In her few public outings, Princess Charlotte has already proven with her perfect royal wave that she's a pro in front of an audience, so it comes as no surprise that the four-year-old is a natural in front of the camera as well.
Last year, the young royal shared the spotlight with her younger brother, Prince Louis, for her birthday photos. Kensington Palace released portraits of the first-time big sister holding her younger sibling, who was days old at the time, melting hearts everywhere.

Royal baby fever isn't over yet, as the world awaits the arrival of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's first child. We can only imagine how cute a photo of Baby Sussex with all of his or her Cambridge cousins would be.
