Princess Charlotte Looks Exactly Like a Young Queen Elizabeth in New Photos

We already knew that Princess Charlotte bears a striking resemblance to her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. However, this brand-new photo proves that it’s only getting spookier with age.

Yesterday, the 4-year-old royal attended a charity polo match in Wokingham, England, where she played in the grass with her brother, Prince George. While we could easily spend hours talking about Char’s summer wardrobe, we couldn’t help but notice that she looks exactly like a young Queen Elizabeth.

Don’t believe us? Check out the side-by-side photo below to see for yourself.

The snap of Queen Elizabeth was taken in January 1929 (she was almost 3 years old), while Char’s pic is from yesterday’s charity polo match. Not only does Princess Charlotte have the same face shape and nose as her great-grandmother, but she also has similar lips.

During the event, Princess Char wore a Celina dress by Mariel-Chantal (aka the Crown Princess of Greece). While the piece normally retails for $280, it’s currently on sale for $196.

This isn’t the first time we noticed the uncanny resemblance between Queen Elizabeth and Princess Charlotte. Back in May 2017, Kensington Palace released an adorable portrait ahead of Char’s 2nd birthday, and royal aficionados were quick to spot the similarities.
