One of the highlights of Pippa Middleton's wedding last May was seeing young Princess Charlotte serve as an adorable bridesmaid. Now, she'll reprise her role as a bridal attendant in her Uncle Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle.

Kensington Palace confirmed the news today with a statement on their website.

Back in December of 2017, when asked by The Sunday Times whether Princess Charlotte and her brother Prince George would be part of the wedding party, Kensington Palace responded, "The wedding will be a family event. You can expect the family to be involved."

But it wasn't until today that we knew how the young royals' would participate in the ceremony.

Unlike in American weddings where bridesmaids are typically the same age as the bride, "most royal brides do not have adult bridesmaids," royals expert Marlene Koenig told T&C late last year. "If you look at the royal weddings since [Queen] Elizabeth's, you will find that most of the bridesmaids are early teens or children."

Other attendants in Meghan and Harry's wedding include Florence van Cutsem (the goddaughter of Prince Harry ), Remi Litt (goddaughter of Meghan Markle), Rylan Litt (goddaughter of Meghan Markle), Ivy Mulroney (daughter of Meghan's close friend Jessica Mulroney), Zalie Warren (goddaughter of Prince Harry) as Charlotte's fellow bridesmaids.

And Prince George, Jasper Dyer (godson of Prince Harry), Brian Mulroney, and John Mulroney (sons of Meghan's close friend Jessica Mulroney) as page boys.
