Princess Charlene of Monaco Is Our New Royal Fashion Crush

Move over, Kate Middleton and Queen Letizia. There’s a new royal fashionista in town and her style is a sight to behold.

Meet Princess Charlene of Monaco, a jumpsuit-loving dignitary with a pixie cut that makes us want to chop our locks off. From daring prints to brazen cutouts, Charlene isn’t afraid to push the envelope when it comes to fashion. Here, everything you need to know about our new royal style crush and her go-to looks.

She's a Former Olympic Swimmer

Née Charlene Wittstock, the princess was born in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and represented South Africa in the 2000 Sydney Olympics, where her team placed fifth in the 4 x 100-meter medley relay. Brava.

And the Princess of Monaco (Duh)

In fact, it was swimming that brought Charlene and her now-husband Prince Albert II together. They met at the Mare Nostrum swim competition in Monte Carlo, Monaco, and married on July 1, 2011. A trendsetter even then, the princess donned an off-the-shoulder Armani wedding gown festooned with 40,000 Swarovski crystals and a 16-foot train that took a casual 100 hours to make. Did we mention Karl Lagerfeld and Naomi Campbell were in attendance?

SHE BRINGS A CERTAIN EDGE TO THE MOST CLASSIC STYLES

While hosting the Princess Grace Awards Gala at Monaco Palace, Charlene wore Christian Dior Couture with elegance and a piece-y pixie cut fit for a queen.

And Can Work a Veil Like NoBody's Business

The princess looked every bit as stunning as her late mother-in-law Grace Kelly on a visit to the Vatican to meet with Pope Francis. In accordance with royal tradition, she donned all white for the occasion and looked like an IRL angel.

She Loves a Bold Pattern

Charlene went for Parisian flair during a 2016 visit to South Africa to see her family. It was there she taught us all the proper ways to wear a newsboy cap. Bless.

And Pops of Color Are Totally Her Forte

What does one wear to the Monaco Grand Prix? An all-white jumpsuit with a pink racing stripe, of course.

She's Not Afraid of Sparkle

Charlene often trades ball gowns for jumpsuits, but this sequin Atelier Versace number is definitely our favorite.

And Doesn't Shy Away from Cutouts

As the saying goes, if you’ve got it, flaunt it at the Versace spring/summer 2018 show. And that’s just what Charlene did.

She Doesn't Let Her Royal Title Get in The Way of Wearing Leather Pants

Charlene put out all the cool girl vibes in a tailored wool peplum top, black pumps and leather pants at the Princess Grace Awards gala in Los Angeles. She topped the look with a black tuxedo jacket and effortless panache.

And Most Importantly, She Recognizes a Little Cleavage Never Hurts

Cleavage (and Versace) on a royal? Well hells bells, she really is the coolest.
