Princess Beatrice and Her Husband Edo Had a Cute Date Night at James Blunt's Movie Premiere

The season may be packed with official activities for the British royal family, but at least one royal couple is making a little "us" time too this holiday season. Last night, Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo "Edo" Mapelli Mozzi stepped out for a date night at a screening of James Blunt: One Brit Wonder, a new documentary about the British pop singer.

For the film, the couple kept things cozy and tonal in shades of navy and black. Beatrice opted for a simple navy crewneck sweater and a satin midi slip skirt (royals, they're just like us), both reportedly by the brand Jigsaw. She paired the look with a pair of zip-front Zara boots from a previous season and a chain-link bracelet. Edo, meanwhile, wore a navy overcoat with a white button down shirt, dark trousers, and white sneakers.

While the couple may have opted for laid-back elegance for the film screening, we could very well see a more glammed up approach from them tomorrow. Last year, Beatrice and Edo attended the "Together at Christmas" carol service at Westminster Abbey along with other members of the royal family, including Beatrice's sister, Princess Eugenie, with whom she coordinated in check-patterned coats. Though no official announcements have been made about their attendance this year, it's expected that many of the royals, Beatrice included, will make a return this season for the annual concert, which has been spearheaded by Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales.
