After revealing their engagement to the public last week—and releasing a sweet set of photos to celebrate—Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were spotted out in public together for the first time this week.

The royal couple got all dressed up to attend a launch party for The Dior Sessions, a coffee table book featuring photographs of celebrities wearing new Dior Homme designs. Photographers captured the pair, hand-in-hand, at the event.

Beatrice chose a stunning green dress from up-and-coming label The Vampire's Wife, which she had previously worn to Ellie Goulding's wedding. The princess paired with black pumps and what appeared to be a Cartier bracelet. The whole look went well with her new sparkly accessory: a knockout engagement ring.

Edo (as he's known to his friends) collaborated with jewelry designer Shaun Leane on the custom rock. "To create this engagement ring for Princess Beatrice is a true honor," Leane told Town & Country earlier this week. "It was Edoardo and I collaborating in the design," he added. "I believe bespoke should be a fusion of the designer and the emotions, memories and details of the collector."

And the final, diamond-filled look? Leane says it definitely still bears his aesthetic stamp. "We filed the claws on the central stone into points, as every single piece of Shaun Leane jewelry has a point," he said. "All in all, it is a beautiful piece of jewelry which is signified by a considered design, excellent craftsmanship and entwined with sentimentality."

Now that this is out of the way, Beatrice can focus on her next big jewelry decision: which tiara to wear to her royal wedding.
