Over the weekend, the first teaser for Prince Philip: The Royal Family Remembers, a new BBC documentary honoring the Duke of Edinburgh, was released. In the trailer, Prince William and Prince Harry pay tribute to their grandfather, as does Princess Anne's daughter Zara Tindall.

"He's always been a huge presence behind everything we've done really," Prince William shares in the clip above. Then, Prince Harry says, "What you see is what you got with my grandfather. He was unapologetically, him."

"You never really prepare yourself for losing him because he was always there," Zara adds. And a comment from Prince Charles closes the footage. "We were lucky to have him for nearly 100 years," the Prince of Wales says, reflecting on his father's legacy.

In total, the documentary will feature “more than a dozen members” of the royal family, but Town & Country understands that The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex will not make appearances in the film. As the project was originally intended to to be shown for Philip’s 100th birthday, some interviews were filmed before his death in April, and some after.

“The documentary-makers have been inside Buckingham Palace to meet the Duke’s long-serving staff and to capture his study, private office and library, exactly as they were during his seven decades at the heart of royal life,” the BBC said in a statement. “There are poignant recollections, plenty of humour and numerous fresh insights into the character and legacy of this royal pioneer.” It will also feature footage from the Queen's private collection.

Prince Philip: The Royal Family Remembers airs Wednesday September 22 at 9 p.m. on BBC One. It is not yet known when or how it will be shown in the U.S.
