Prince William's Alleged Affair Is Trending Again After Kate Middleton Caught Giving Him 'The Side Eye' At Remembrance Day

Kate Middleton, 41, was caught giving her husband Prince William, also 41, “the side eye” during Remembrance Day this year – and this has understandably sent the internet into a frenzy as it strives to work out why! Does Prince William’s alleged affair have something to do with it? Social media sure thinks so!

The Prince and Princess of Wales are keen observers of the late Queen Elizabeth II’s ‘never complain, never explain’ rule, which often means putting what may be going on in private behind them and smiling for the public and for the cameras. Perhaps this was easier for the late Queen than it is for the Princess of Wales, as she has been caught out a few times giving her husband cold looks. On this occasion, social media thinks it might have something to do with Prince William’s alleged affair; and because of this assumption, it’s trending all over again!

TikTok user @hrhgossip (Royal Family Gossip) shared a clip of the moment in question on the social media platform, and told viewers that she personally thought the Prince and Princess of Wales were fighting beforehand. Although the royals were attending an event all about paying tribute to fallen soldiers, she believed the mom-of-three’s expression was about far more than that!

“There is this video floating around of Princess Kate and Prince William at Remembrance Day, and Kate kind of has this disgusted look on her face,” the TikToker began. “She’s giving Will the side eye. My first thought when I saw this clip was that it’s kind of slowed down a little bit, so maybe this was just recorded and taken out of context.”

“They might also have solemn looks on their faces because it’s Remembrance Day which is all about remembering fallen soldiers,” she said, before observing: “When I looked at other photos from this night, they looked like this the whole time, and the photos of Charles and Camilla, who are sitting right next to them, they’re like joking and laughing and having a good time, so I’m wondering did they have some sort of fight before this?” She added: “People on Twitter or X seem to think it’s because she found out that he was cheating on her again. I don’t know, that’s neither here nor there, you look at this clip and tell me what you think.”

Her viewers did indeed look at the clip, and weren't shy of sharing their thoughts! "He's still seeing Rose Hanbury," one user thought, in reference to the Marchioness of Cholmondeley (who was actually once a close friend of Kate's!) who Prince William was rumored to have had an alleged affair with. Someone else said: "I hope it's not Rose Hanbury, Kate doesn't deserve that whole mess." "Like father like son. Except Kate doesn't have the bravery to leave Will like Diana," another user commented, as another thought "William looks guilty… of something!"

"I have been married for 47 years. They definitely had a fight before this event," another user suspected, as someone believed the Princess of Wales looked "hurt and miserable." "She found out what the royal family is really like," quipped another. However, many other users thought the Princess of Wales was just sad because of the nature of the event.

"I saw the whole program. This was a sad part the children of fallen soldiers were walking in. I was in tears myself," wrote one user. "It's a somber event and everyone in the clip looks sad. The Prince and Princess of Wales have worked non-stop, I'd say they are also very tired," concurred another.

"I saw it on tv and it was at a particularly emotional moment and it looked like she was trying not to cry. She didn't look as solemn walking in at all," thought another, as many more believed the clip was taken out of context. "I think it's just because it's slowed down but we'll likely never know," wrote one user, followed by the crying laughing emoji.
