Prince William is Trying to Get Prince George and Princess Charlotte to Play Tennis
The royal family's love of tennis is a well-documented tale, but we might see two little royals on the tennis court in the future: Prince William revealed he's trying to get Prince George and Princess Charlotte to learn the sport.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sat court side at Wimbledon on Sunday for the men's finals, where they watched Novak Djokovic win the Grand Slam title against Kevin Anderson. After the match, Will and Kate chatted with Djokovic to congratulate him on his win-and exchange some news about their kids.
After chatting about the match, Djokovic asked the Duke and Duchess "how are your children?" Kate then smiled as she turned to Will, who said "very well, thanks, very well. Trying to get a tennis racket in their hand. And a football."

Prince George has reportedly already given tennis a try, according to Sam Richardson, a coach with the Lawn Tennis Association. Last fall, Kate, who is a patron of the Lawn Tennis Association, visited the National Tennis Centre, where she chatted with Richardson about George playing tennis. "[Kate] says with George just being 4 he wants to whack a ball," Richardson said, according to People. "So, she was asking what sort of stuff should be doing. She said he’s interested in it but more in whacking the ball.”
Other than tennis, Will and Kate have previously touched on a few of George and Charlotte's favorite hobbies. Both royals revealed that Princess Charlotte loves to dance: in March, William told Michelle Muscat, the wife of the Prime Minister of Malta, that "Charlotte loves dancing." Last year, Duchess Kate said Princess Charlotte is already taking lessons, adding "she absolutely loves it."
In fact, we've seen the little royal show off some moves before. Back in June, Princess Charlotte was photographed playing outside with Prince George at a polo match, where the little princess showed off a handstand:
