Prince William Says Prince George & Princess Charlotte Can't Get Enough of *This* Children's Book

Just because they’re royal doesn’t mean Prince George and Princess Charlotte can resist a good ol’ bedtime story.

Prince William recently attended an event for Tusk Trust at Kensington Palace and spilled the beans about his children’s literary preferences. You see, the project is designed to raise awareness about rhino extinction, so author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler teamed up to decorate one of 21 model rhinos with characters from their children’s book, The Ugly Five.

Prince William immediately recognized the illustrations and told them that their other book, The Gruffalo, is an all-time favorite among his children, saying, “I know who you are. It’s a big hit in our household, The Gruffalo.”

The book tells the story of a mouse who stumbles upon several dangerous creatures while strolling through the forest, and we can’t help but wonder who has the better storytelling voice: Prince William or Kate Middleton.
