Prince William and Prince Harry Appear Together for First Time This Year at Prince Philip’s Funeral

Prince William and Prince Harry have reunited for the first time this year at Prince Philip's funeral today. The two, while arriving there, were duty-focused and barely had any interaction, let alone eye contact.

Interestingly, the royal family opted not to have the brothers walk next to each other during either of the two processions for their grandfather's funeral.

The Palace shut down speculation this order was chosen because of William and Harry's strained relationship following Harry's decision to permanently step back from his senior royal family role and Harry and his wife Meghan Markle's big bombshell-filled Oprah interview that aired last month.

A Palace spokesman told People that the procession order was “a practical change rather than sending a signal. This is a funeral, and we are not going to be drawn into perceptions of drama. The arrangements have been agreed and represent Her Majesty’s wishes.”

A source told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday that Harry and William had spoken by phone during Harry's week in the U.K. leading up to the funeral. Harry is reportedly expected to fly back to California, where Meghan and their son Archie remain, shortly after the funeral ends. Meghan was not cleared to fly to England by her doctor as she is too far along in her pregnancy with their second child.
