Prince William Poses With George, Charlotte, and Louis in Father's Day Photo

Prince William and his children are all smiles this Father's Day.

Kensington Palace released a new photo of the Duke of Cambridge and his three kids—Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4—to mark the holiday. In the pic, which was taken on the family's trip to Jordan last fall, William smiles as the group sits in a desert landscape, with George and Charlotte laughing at his sides and Louis perched on his shoulders.

"Wishing a Happy Father’s Day to fathers and grandfathers across the world today!" the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wrote on Instagram.

It looks like the newly-released photo was taken on the same day as the pic used for the Cambridge family's Christmas card last year. That image, which was shared last December, included Duchess Kate as the whole family posed outdoors.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have made a small tradition of sharing never-before-seen photos of their children on special events. Their Father's Day post last year included a pic of William and the three kids together at the 2019 Trooping the Colour parade, where the duke carries Louis as George and Charlotte hug his legs.

The Cambridge family have had a busy month of royal engagements, with the whole family attending several events for Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee. George, Charlotte, and Louis made two special balcony appearances alongside their parents and grandmother, for the Trooping the Colour parade and the surprise ending to the Platinum Pageant at Buckingham Palace.
