  • Camila Cabello stole a pencil from Kensington Palace last month.

  • Prince William and Kate Middleton are now letting Camila know they're aware of her "theft."

You've done it. I've done it. We've all done it! That's right, I'm talking about stealing. Nope, not on a scale of grand theft auto (because honestly who TF wants to go to jail), but like, taking little soaps from whatever overpriced hotel I'm staying at because it's probably the only free thing I'll get from my stay. That sort of thing! But when you're Camila Cabello, you take from bigger and better places, i.e. Kensington freakin' Palace.

During an interview with Greg James on his BBC Radio 1 program, Camila confessed that she and her mother copped a five-finger discount on an item at the Palace. “Don’t tell anybody what my mother and I did,” she started, which doesn't really make the most sense because it's on national radio, but oh well!

Thankfully, Greg launched into the story anyway and recounted how he dared Camila to steal a pencil during the event she attended at the Palace last month that honored teen heroes. Apparently, Greg "triple doggy dared" Camila to steal, and that was enough for Camila to do it. “You can’t not do a triple doggy dare,” Cabello said, later adding, “I still have it. I’m sorry, William, and I’m sorry, Kate.”

So what did Prince William and Middleton think about Camila stealing items from their house? They decided to keep quiet about Camila, but signaled that they did indeed watch her interview because they sent her a very telling emoji response:

Welp, it kinda goes without saying that the next time Camila comes to visit (if there even is a next time), they're gonna have to put all of their good pencils away with the fine china and silverware. Clearly, the girl can't be trusted!
