Last week, Kate Middleton and Prince William traveled to Anglesey in Wales, which holds a special meaning because it’s where the couple spent their first few months as newlyweds and first-time parents.
During the outing, the Princess of Wales was greeted by a royal admirer holding a small flag with their engagement pictures on the front. The tribute made the royal recall a moment with her three kids, Prince George (9), Prince Louis (4) and Princess Charlotte (7)
In a short video (courtesy of @wales_05) on Twitter, Princess Catherine notices the fan and reveals that her children had fun reactions to seeing their engagement photos.
The Princess of Wales saying that it feels extraordinary that William and her have been together for 20 years 😭❤ and that their children joke about them looking so young in pictures 😂💓

“Oh my goodness, is that from our engagement?” she asks the person. “We always laugh about this [because] although we’ve been married for eleven years, we’ve been together for double that, so it’s extraordinary.”
She jokingly adds, “The children look back at the photos and say, ‘Mummy, you look so young.’”

Princess Catherine also explained how much Wales means to them, saying, “It’s nice coming back to Wales because it was where we lived before we had our family and everything. So, it’s been a really special day.”
Under their new royal titles, the married couple visited the RNLI Holyhead Lifeboat Station in Wales, where they met various members and volunteers working at the facility. The lifeboat station is also located a few miles away from where the couple once resided, shortly after tying the knot and welcoming their first child, Prince George.
