In the midst of their royal duties, Prince William and Kate Middleton stopped by an ice cream shop to get their fix. While Prince William opted for a cone, Kate enjoyed her scoop in a cup.

William and Kate recently announced a survey they are working on that asks questions about health, happiness, and nature versus nurture in children. Kate recently served breakfast to a kindergarten class as a part of this same project.

The couple visited south Wales and met people throughout the day, but took a pit stop at Joe's Ice Cream Parlour to enjoy a sweet treat, according to People. At the parlor, there were parents and caregivers from the area who were open to talking to the couple about the topics of their survey.

William apparently called himself a "chocolate man" but ended up choosing a vanilla ice cream cone with chocolate sprinkles. Like any of us would, he also tried a small cup of chocolate ice cream on the side. The best of both worlds! Kate ordered her ice cream in a cup.

People reported that when the two were asked if their three kids liked ice cream, they responded, "They do, some more than others." Which sounds pretty vague, so I want to know which little royal prefers ice cream over the others.

After eating their ice cream, the two mingled with the locals and talked more about their “5 Big Questions on the Under Fives” survey. Looks like we'll be getting lots of fun food-related royal content as William and Kate make their rounds.
