Prince William Just Revealed That Prince George is Obsessed with Dinosaurs
Prince George may be third in the line to the throne of the United Kingdom, but in so many ways, he's just a regular five year old. George is a huge fan of helicopters like his dad, his only Christmas wish last year was for a toy police car, and, as Prince William once revealed, he loves the classic book The Gruffalo.
Today, William touched on another one of George's interests-one children everywhere can relate to: dinosaurs. Royal reporter Rebecca English just shared a video of William visiting the Acorns Hospice center in Birmingham, where he shared the sweet detail of George's current obsession. "Is that a triceratops?" William asked one of the children at the center who had a toy dinosaur. "George is obsessed with dinosaurs so we're learning all about them," he continued. While in Birmingham, William received a very special gift for George, Charlotte, and Louis with dinosaurs in mind. People's royal reporter Simon Perry shared a snap on Instagram of three specially-created coloring books William was gifted for his kids, one of which is appropriately titled "The Big Book of Dinosaur Colouring." After a busy spring and summer, George and his family are settling back into a routine in London. In May, George served as a page boy in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding. Just a few weeks later, George attended the Trooping the Colour celebration, where he made a memorable appearance with his cousin, Savannah Phillips, on the Buckingham Palace balcony. He spent the rest of the summer running around with Charlotte at a polo match, attending his little brother Prince Louis's christening, and vacationing with his family in Mustique, where he marked his fifth birthday.
George returned to school at Thomas's Battersea in London earlier this month, and will likely serve as a page boy in Princess Eugenie's royal wedding next month in Windsor.
