So, Prince William Definitely Just Bragged About Prince George’s Eye for Fashion

Prince George, at the ripe age of nine, still follows royal dress protocol to a T—but it seems that what he really wants is to add some sparkle to his wardrobe.

British singer Craig David, who performed at Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations earlier this year, recalled a conversation he had with Prince William about his eldest son's love of fashion.

"Prince William walks over, he comes over, says, 'My son George was going crazy for the blue sequined outfit that you were wearing,'" David said on The Jonathan Ross Show. "My mum was there, I said, 'Lovely to meet you, love that George loved the outfit.'"

George and William sat front row for David's performance, which was part of the BBC's Platinum Party at the Palace staged in front of Buckingham Palace. In photos from the event, George is seen smiling widely while watching David sing and dance.

The conversation between William and David occurred during a soiree held at Buckingham Palace after the event, per the singer.

"That moment for me, as a son [introducing my mother to William], was probably the most incredible moment for me. Then Kate comes over. Very memorable moment," he said.

While George may be able to get more creative with his fashion choices in the future, for now, there any many strict dress codes he, as a royal and heir to the British throne, has to follow. A main one is that royal kids should always wears shorts, not pants, until they are about eight years old. In the past year or so, as he's gotten older, George has begun wearing pants and suits on official outings with his parents.
