Since the news of the Duke of Edinburgh’s death, royal well wishers have been preparing for Prince Philip’s funeral. Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II, died the age of 99 on April 9, 2021.
“It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh,” Buckingham Palace confirmed in a statement at the time. “His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.
