Prince Harry made a surprise visit to the UK to attend the preliminary hearings at the Royal Courts of Justice for his lawsuit against Associated Newspapers. While there, Town & Country understands Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their children were away for the Easter holidays, so they were not planning on seeing Harry. Now, a spokesperson for Prince Harry said that Harry was told King Charles was "too busy" to see him. King Charles and Queen Camilla arrived in Germany yesterday for a three-day visit, and ahead of their trip, they were not in London or Windsor.

With King Charles's coronation just over one month away, the question of whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will attend looms large. Prince Harry previously said in January, "There's a lot that can happen between now and then. But, the door is always open. The ball is in their court. There's a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they're willing to sit down and talk about it." Yet, while he was in the UK, he clearly did not sit down and talk it out with his brother and father.

Earlier this month, a spokesperson for the Sussexes confirmed to T&C that "the Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Majesty's office regarding the coronation. An immediate decision on whether The Duke and Duchess will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time." The coronation is set to take place on May 6, 2023, the fourth birthday of Harry and Meghan's son, Prince Archie.

The pretrial hearings for Harry's suit conclude today. Harry has submitted a witness statement, which reads, in part, that the royal family did not disclose the full truth about a phone hacking incident.

"The Institution was without a doubt withholding information from me for a long time about NGN's phone hacking and that has only become clear in recent years as I have pursued my own claim with different legal advice and representation," he said. "It is not an exaggeration to say that the bubble burst in terms of what I knew in 2020 when I moved out of the United Kingdom."
