Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is turning out to be a lot like his father.

Speaking with Today's Hoda Kotb, Prince Harry described what a typical day in his life looks like when raising two young kids during a pandemicincluding his "cheeky" two-year-old son.

"It revolves around the kids as much as humanly possible," the Duke of Sussex said of little Archie and 10-month-old baby girl Lilibet Diana, whom he shares with Duchess Meghan. "This whole working from home stuff is not all it’s cracked up to be, certainly post-COVID, because it’s really hard. But when your kids and you are in the same place, it’s really hard to separate the work from them because they kind of overlap."

He added, "So, I mean, Archie spends more time interrupting our Zoom calls. But he often gets us off them, as well, so that’s also a nice thing."

When asked by Kotb if Archie shares his "cheeky" personality, Harry answered, "Yeah, and I think so. I always try and keep that. I think that, the cheekiness is something that keeps you alive."

He further explained that, as a father, his mission is to make the world better for his kids' sake. "There’s so much to be happy about in the outside world, but there’s also so much to worry about," said the duke. "My sort of mantra now every day, it’s a dangerous one, because I need to make sure that I don’t have burnout, but it’s trying to make the world a better place for my kids. Otherwise, what’s the point in bringing kids into this world, right? It’s a responsibility that I feel as a parent and that you probably feel as a parent as well."

Harry also spoke to Kotb about making California feel like home since the couple relocated from the U.K. to North America in 2020.

"Home for me, now, is, you know, for the time being, in the states," he said. "We’ve been welcomed with open arms."
