Prince Harry made a special visit to a group of young people working to make the world a more equitable place.

In a new video recently shared by YouTuber and activist Vee Kativhu, the Duke of Sussex surprised the honorees of the 2023 Diana Awards, which honor the legacy of his late mother, Princess Diana. The clip shows Harry interacting with award recipients at the Conversations for Change seminar in Los Angeles last month.

“As well as Co-hosting the Diana Awards together last month, I was honoured to be the host and moderator of the first international in person Conversations for Change seminar with The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry as my special guest alongside the CEO of the Diana Awards, Tessy Ojo 🌍🍃🖤,” Kativhu captioned the post. “This conversation was so special and featured global Changemakers and also supporters of youth dotted around the room. We touched on social media, social justice, inequality and how to combat burn out while advocating for the incredibly important topics that many of the youth around the table have dedicated their lives to.”

Harry and older brother Prince William participated separately in the virtual Diana Award ceremony this past June.

“To everyone watching, all these stories remind us why organizations like the Diana Award are so important,” William said during his virtual appearance. “It is a reminder that when we invest in young people, when we provide them with the tools and opportunities to make a difference, they can truly change the world. A belief shared by my mother, and one I am proud to continue in her name.”

Later in the ceremony, Harry made a joint appearance with Kativhu. “As we come together, I am reminded of the profound belief my mother held in the transformative power of young people,” he said. “She recognized their unique ability to challenge the status quo and push for a more inclusive and compassionate society.”
