Prince Harry and Prince William have been apart for more than a year, following Harry and Meghan's move from royal life. Harry and Meghan have been living in California since the start of the pandemic last year, and now have a home in Montecito, where they've been awaiting the arrival of their second child, a girl.

Following the death of his grandfather Prince Philip, Harry traveled to England to attend the funeral service, where today, he was seen chatting with his brother and sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.

This is the first major event where the three were reunited, following last March, when Harry and Meghan were in the U.K. for their final royal engagements.

All eyes have been on the brothers in particular since Harry and Meghan's interview with Oprah Winfrey on CBS early las month.

"The relationship is 'space' at the moment," said Prince Harry during the chat. "And time heals all things, hopefully." In the interview, Meghan and Harry detailed some of their struggles ahead of their departure from royal life, including remarks that someone close them made about the color of their son Archie's skin and the question of whether he was going to receive royal security.

"They said [he's not going to get security], because he's not going to be a prince," Meghan said. "Okay, well, he needs to be safe so we're not saying don't make him a prince or princess, but if you're saying the title is what's going to affect that protection, we haven't created this monster machine around us in terms of clickbait and tabloid fodder you've allowed that to happen which means our son needs to be safe."

Meghan added she and Harry never received an explanation for the security issue: "I heard a lot of it through Harry and a lot of it through conversations with family members."

Following the interview, Buckingham Palace released the following statement: "The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Meghan and Harry.

The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.

Harry, Meghan, and Archie will always be much loved family members."
