Prince Harry Will Reportedly Be Like a “Lost Soul” in Los Angeles

From Cosmopolitan

  • A royal author shares that he thinks Prince Harry will be a “lost soul” in Los Angeles.

  • Harry has already been having a tough time with the transition to L.A. life.

Welp, it sounds like Prince Harry’s transition from being a royal in the United Kingdom to be a former royal (but still very famous person) in California hasn’t been the smoothest. Not only did Harry and Meghan Markle have to move during a pandemic, but it seems as though Harry is finding the culture shift difficult.

Last month, Harry reportedly told friends that “he can’t believe his life has been turned upside down,” and a few weeks ago, a source called Harry “rudderless,” adding, “Harry is missing having a structure to his life right now. He doesn’t have friends in L.A. like Meghan and he doesn’t have a job.” So yeah, Harry isn’t having the easiest time!

And it might get a little worse before it gets better, ’cause, per the Daily Mail, royal author Tom Quinn shared that he thinks “Harry will be like a lost soul in the U.S....It will be far worse for Harry in America than Meghan in England. Because he’s not as tough as she is.”

Plus, royal biographer Andrew Morton previously talked to The Sunday Times about how Meghan and Harry will be treated differently by paparazzi in America, saying, “They will have to get used to the paparazzi and in Hollywood the gloves will be off....They’ll have TMZ sticking a camera in their faces saying, ‘How’s your day going?’ It will be aggressive and Harry won’t like that.”

Oof. Sounds like it might take some time for Harry to adjust, but I’m sure that he and Meghan will make it work!
