Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey’s latest project is in the final stages. (No, it’s not another tell-all interview.)

We learned back in 2019 that the Duke of Sussex and the TV mogul were joining forces to create and produce a multi-part documentary series about mental health.

According to the Sussexs official Instagram account (which is no longer active), the series “will focus on both mental illness and mental wellness, inspiring viewers to have an honest conversation about the challenges each of us faces, and how to equip ourselves with the tools to not simply survive, but to thrive.”

In an interview with CBS This Morning, Winfrey explained that the collaboration began when she asked the prince what he felt the most important issues facing the world are. “He said there were two,” she noted. “He said climate change and he said mental wellness, mental fitness, mental health.”

Winfrey went on to explain that the project is all about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues, and “allowing people to know that they are not alone, allowing people to speak up about it and being able to identify it for themselves and in their friends.”

And while the series was originally supposed to air on the Apple TV platform in 2020, the 67-year-old recently revealed that the documentary will drop this month.

“I want to just say that Dr. Perry and I have been also, for the past two years, along with Prince Harry and Apple, we’ve been working on this mental health series that’s coming out in May on Apple,” she said during a visit to The Drew Barrymore Show. Yup. May.

Unfortunately, she didn’t share any further details. But hey, we’ll take what we can get.
