Congratulations are in order for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

A representative for the couple confirmed that the Duchess has given birth to the couple's second child: a daughter named Lilibet. "It is with great joy that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcome their daughter, Lilibet 'Lili' Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world. Lili was born on Friday, June 4 at 11:40 a.m. in the trusted care of the doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital," they said in a statement.

The name is tribute to Harry's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, whose nickname is Lilibet. Diana, meanwhile, is a nod to Harry's late mother.

They first announced the news back in February by sharing a portrait taken by photographer Misan Herriman. A month later, during their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Sussexes shared they were expecting a daughter.

Their first child, Archie, was born in May 2018.
