Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Step Out for First Royal Outing of 2020

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just returned from holiday break, and they look better than ever.

Earlier today, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended their first royal engagement of 2020 and paid a visit to Canada House in London.

While there, Prince Harry and Markle met with Janice Charette, the High Commissioner in Canada to the U.K, as well as staff members who provided them with warm hospitality during their recent trip to Canada.

The royal couple also stopped by the Canada Gallery, where they met members of the High Commission and browsed a special exhibition by Indigenous Canadian artist Skawennati.

During the outing, Markle wore a tan wool coat by Stella McCartney, which features a collared neckline, button details and—wait for it—pockets. The piece retails for $1,150. Cha-ching!

The duchess accessorized the look with a turtleneck, brown satin skirt and velvet pumps by Jimmy Choo. Markle has the “Oxid” color, which is currently out of stock. But have no fear: Nordstrom has a variety of different hue options, which retail for $595.

This isn’t the first time Prince Harry and Markle visited the Canada House in London. Back in March 2019, the duke and duchess visited the historic building in celebration of Commonwealth Day. Two months after the visit, Markle gave birth to the couple’s first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The royals’ partnership with Canada House holds a special place in Markle’s heart, since she used to live in Toronto while filming Suits.

If she only knew she’d be the guest of honor a few years later.
