If you enjoyed watching Harry & Meghan on Netflix, then you’re definitely in for a treat.
Today, Netflix revealed the release date for Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan Markle’s, 42, previously announced docuseries titled Heart of Invictus—and it’s premiering later this month on the streaming service.
But, that’s not even the best part. Shortly after the announcement, the streaming service posted the official trailer for the upcoming series across social media. And many royal fans will be happy to know the premiere date for the new series is (drumroll, please) August 30.
Heart of Invictus will follow a group of contestants from around the globe who are preparing to compete in the 2020 Invictus Games, which took place in The Hague, Netherlands. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the date of the tournament was pushed back.
As many royal followers probably already know, Harry launched the Invictus Games back in 2014. The multi-sport event allows ill and wounded servicemen and women to compete in a range of sports competitions like basketball, tennis, swimming and more.
And the 2023 Invictus Games is set to take place on September 9-16 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex first shared the news of their Netflix series in April 2021. In a statement written by the royal spare and posted on the Archewell Foundation website, they said: “Since the very first Invictus Games back in 2014, we knew that each competitor would contribute in their own exceptional way to a mosaic of resilience, determination, and resolve.”
The message continued, “This series will give communities around the world a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these competitors on their path to the Netherlands next year. As Archewell Productions’ first series with Netflix, in partnership with The Invictus Games Foundation, I couldn’t be more excited for the journey ahead or prouder of the Invictus community for continuously inspiring global healing, human potential and continued service.”
