Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Have Been Secretly Hosting Super-Fancy Dinners at Their Frogmore Cottage Home

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have (unofficially) received a new title: the King and Queen of Hostessing.

According to George Clooney, he and his wife, Amal Clooney, have had numerous fancy dinner parties with their BFFs the Sussexes…and we're dying to be a fly on the royal wall of these swanky-sounding events.

“We have dinners and stuff and we’re friends with them for all the reasons that you’re friends with anybody,” the Catch-22 actor recently explained in an interview with the Daily Mail.

George and Amal, who have a house in Sonning, Berkshire, are now decently close neighbors with their royal pals Harry and Meghan. The drive is about 30 minutes, according to Google Maps, which means dinner parties at the Sussexes' new home of Frogmore Cottage on the grounds of Windsor Castle are totally doable.

"They’re just really nice, fun, kind people, they’re a very loving couple, and they’re going to be great parents," Clooney told the website.

And the actor's not the first to mention Markle's hosting skills. During her Vanity Fair interview for the September 2017 cover story, Markle "prepared a lunch of organic greens, a crusty bread to be dipped in olive oil, and pasta tossed with chilies" for her interviewer.

The duchess said she bought the chilies from "a little place called Terroni, which they have in L.A. and in Toronto. They’re really hot, but if you’re good with heat, then I think they’re going to be your new favorite thing…I’ll give you a little jar to take home," she told reporter Sam Kashner.

Longtime friend and makeup artist Daniel Martin also clued us in to the duchess's superb hosting skills. In January, Martin met with Markle in London, and the two friends shared a meal. The duchess threw together some tea, chocolates and avo toast, and Martin Instagrammed the spread.

He captioned his shot, "Back to our Tig days…Thank you Meghan for being the consummate hostess this weekend and still being the #avocadotoast whisperer, YUM!"

Where's our invite for dinner? We'll bring a bib for baby Archie, we promise.
